Today, we’re announcing a big step toward this vision with FANUC. Our teams are partnering to bring high-performance support for FANUC robots, including the collaborative CRX, to the Intrinsic Platform. Intrinsic contributes heavily to ROS and we are especially excited about FANUC’s new support for ROS, the industry’s open robotics platform and community. With deeper platform integrations between Intrinsic, FANUC, and open source tools including ROS, Gazebo and Open-RMF, our teams are bringing AI-accelerated workflows to developers, through tools they know and depend on. The Open Robotics team at Intrinsic is converging the capabilities of ROS and Intrinsic, so ROS developers will find it easier to develop applications for the full deployment life cycle, from initial prototyping straight to the production line.
