Scott joined Intrinsic in 2022 via the acquisition of Vicarious, a leading robotics and AI startup, where Scott served as co-founder and CEO. Vicarious pioneered robots-as-a-service (RaaS) and was backed by more than $250 million from investors including Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Marc Benioff, Peter Thiel, and Vinod Khosla.

Prior to co-founding Vicarious, Scott was entrepreneur-in-residence at Founders Fund, an $11 billion venture capital fund investing in companies building revolutionary technologies. Before that, Scott was founder and CEO of Frogmetrics (Y Combinator S08).

Over his career, Scott has published peer-reviewed research in Science and NeurIPS, designed award winning digital art and games, authored multiple patents, invested in hard tech startups like Sila Nano, Psi Quantum, and Bolt Threads, and advised venture funds like Felicis Ventures, Base10, and 8VC.

Scott earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in computer science and entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania.

He lives in California with his wife and two young children, the oldest of whom most recently stumped him by asking if fish can be left handed (they can!).
